Laser therapy produces an photochemical reaction various cells in the body. Photons are absorbed by mitochondria and in the cell membranes by chromophores which are photosensitizer’s that can generate reactive oxygen following irradiation from laser. The mitochondria will produce photo energy which gets converted to electromagnetic energy in the form of ATP which is the body’s energy source. This provides required energy for the body to repair itself.
